Orioles GM Elias finds positives in rebuild after 108 losses

BALTIMORE (AP) The Baltimore Orioles' second straight 100-loss season featured 11 double-digit defeats, 14 successive losses against the New York Yankees and not a single series sweep.

No one ever promised the first year of this massive rebuilding project was going to be pretty.

"We're still losing games, way more than we want to," rookie general manager Mike Elias said. "This is not fun. It's not easy to crawl out of."
